Tong But Lut – Hong Kong Style Mochi
If you’ve been to a Chinese restaurant enough time, you’ll realise that a lot of Chinese desserts are made with glutinous rice or glutinous rice flour. There’s a really mild, yet unique taste to glutinous rice products that no other ingredients can replace.
Coconut Egg White Pudding
Coconut water is simply an awesome summer drink, not only is it refreshing, but has so many health benefits too! It is known to detoxify your body, speed up metabolism, improve digestion and it contains essential electrolytes, making it perfect for a summer recharge sip.
This coconut egg white steamed pudding is a very common dessert in Hong Kong, found in both sweet-soup (HK dessert) and dim-sum places. My recipe is low in sugar, so combined with the nutritious coconut water, it is a rather healthy dessert that might even help you achieve glowing skin!

I have been making these macarons back when Despicable Me 2 was showing, so I thought it would be a good idea to share the recipe now as the minions are making a comeback.
Ted macarons
Are you not excited about all the movies that are coming up this summer?

Watercolour Painting Nails
Watch tutorial on my YouTube Channel.
Sometimes I want a fancier nail look, but I don’t have the patience and skills to create those sophisticated nail-art designs. I got tired of having plain coloured nails too (though it’s actually my fav.), so I tried something different. Continue reading
Honey Crunch Chiffon Cake [Honeycomb]
Watch YouTube tutorial on my YouTube channel.
This is one of my all-time favourites, it’s nothing sophisticated, just a chiffon cake and whipped cream. But then you add then honey crunchies/honeycomb, and they make all the difference.
